Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

Rodent Control Cape Coral LLC, operating as Rodent Control Cape Coral (“we”, “us”, or “our”), takes your privacy seriously. This page explains, in plain terms, what we learn about you through https://rodentcontrolcapecoral.online and through working at your Cape Coral property, what we do with it, how long we hang onto it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • How to reach you: the name, phone number, email address, and property address you hand over when booking an inspection, ringing us, or filling in the form.
  • What is happening at the property: the noises, droppings, damage, or smells you describe, which service you are after, and anything about gate codes, pets, or household health we need in order to work safely.
  • The job file: what the technician found, photographs of the roof returns, soffits, and other openings, trap placement and catch logs, your quote, invoices, and the warranty paperwork.
  • Payment details: handled entirely by our payment provider. Full card numbers never touch our systems.

Information collected automatically

As on nearly any website, our host and any analytics we run may log routine technical details: the IP address you arrived from, browser and device type, the page that referred you, which pages you opened, and when. We look at this in aggregate. We use it to keep the site working, see what people read, and make it faster. We do not use it to work out who you are.

Cookies and similar technologies

This is a static site and it drops no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Were that to change, we would rewrite this page before switching anything on. Your browser settings can block or clear cookies at any point regardless of what any site prefers.

2. How we use your information

  • Answering your enquiry and getting an inspection or service visit on the calendar.
  • Producing quotes, carrying out the agreed work, and keeping the job file straight.
  • Billing you and collecting payment.
  • Standing behind the warranty, checking how the treatment held, and arranging re-inspections or return visits.
  • Meeting the licensing, insurance, and record-keeping duties that apply to pest control operators in Florida under Chapter 482 of the Florida Statutes.
  • Improving how we work and how this site reads, and occasionally sending seasonal prevention reminders ahead of the summer rains or a cold front.

We have never sold customer information and we do not hand it to anyone else to market their own products.

3. When we share information

Your details leave our hands in only a few narrow situations:

  • Suppliers who work for us: scheduling software, invoicing and payment processing, email, and hosting. They are required by contract to keep it confidential and use it only on our instructions.
  • Specialist subcontractors: where part of the job goes to a partner, such as attic insulation removal and replacement or carpentry repair, limited strictly to what they need to complete that work.
  • People you have told us to report to: a landlord, property manager, condo or HOA board, or a health inspector, when you have authorised it.
  • Where the law requires it: in response to a legal obligation, regulator, or subpoena, or to bring or defend a legal claim.
  • If the business changes hands: records may pass to a buyer or successor, who would remain bound by this policy.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiries that never turn into a job are cleared out after about two years. Job files, treatment logs, and invoices we hold for at least as long as Florida pest control licensing and tax rules require. We keep it for at least three years, and longer while a warranty is still running or a dispute is open. Once there is no reason left to keep something, we delete it or strip out anything identifying.

5. Security

We protect what we hold with sensible administrative, technical, and physical measures: encrypted connections over HTTPS, restricted access to customer records, and staff trained in handling this material properly. No system anywhere is flawless, so we do not claim absolute security. If a breach involving personal information does occur, we will notify the people affected as the law requires.

6. Your privacy rights in Florida

Florida’s Digital Bill of Rights aims its main duties at very large technology companies rather than local service businesses our size, so most of that statute does not reach us. The underlying rights strike us as reasonable anyway, so we extend them to every customer as a matter of policy. You may:

  • Ask what we hold about you and where it came from.
  • Ask for a copy of it in a format you can take elsewhere.
  • Have anything inaccurate corrected, or ask us to delete what we hold, so far as our retention duties allow.
  • Tell us not to sell or share your information. We do not do either, and have no intention of starting.
  • Exercise any of the above without being penalised for it. Asking will never cost you a booking, a higher price, or a lesser standard of work.

The Florida Attorney General publishes general consumer protection guidance for residents, and if you live outside Florida you keep whatever rights your own state or country gives you.

Requests go to hello@rodentcontrolcapecoral.online or (239) 445-0118. We normally confirm it is really you by checking details already sitting on your job file, and we aim to come back to you inside 45 days. You are welcome to send someone on your behalf, though we will ask to see written authority first.

7. Text messages and email

Give us a mobile number and we may text you about appointment times, a technician being on the way, or how the treatment is holding. Message and data rates are whatever your carrier charges. STOP switches texts off, and marketing emails carry an unsubscribe link. Messages about a job that is currently open will still reach you, since you need them.

8. Children’s privacy

This site and our services are meant for adults, and we do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us something, tell us and it will be deleted.

9. Third-party links

We link out to public health and university extension resources here and there. Each of those sites runs its own privacy policy and we have no control over how they operate, so it is worth a look at their terms before you share anything with them.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy will be revised when our practices or the law move. The “last updated” line at the top records the most recent revision, and anything significant will be called out on this page rather than slipped in quietly.
